Having worked through intense introspection during the preceding year these songs bore a striking resemblance to that process, where layer upon layer upon layer is peeled back, investigated, pulled apart, discarded or put back in place - all the while forming a part of the whole.

 

Moving away from the melodic, melancholic, flowing piano melodies of old 'Introspect' is an experiment with a different style of playing.

Introducing multiple piano layers in each song created an effect that was almost hypnotic and every song seems to end to soon.
